Qatar University (QU) is a public university in Doha, Qatar. It was founded in 1973 as part of the country’s efforts to develop its human resources. The university has a student body of more than 18,000 students, and 1,200 faculty and staff.
QU has been ranked first in the Arab region for the past five years consecutively in the Universitas 21 Ranking of Institutions of Higher Education. The university offers a comprehensive range of programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate levels. QU has been ranked as one of the top universities in the Arab region. Qatar University offers scholarships to outstanding students who demonstrate excellent academic achievement and potential.
